ABSTRACT

Use of Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (OAT) of Fixed Dose Combination (FDC) can simplify the process and simplify patient treatment in consuming drugs. To that required knowledge about treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis FDC types that must be possessed by an Observer Treatment (PMO) to support compliance of patient in treatment. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge Observer Treatment (PMO) regarding the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis type of Fixed Dose Combination (FDC) and the compliance of patients treated in The Public Health Centre Klirong I. This research method is the Quantitative Descriptive Cross sectional study design. The Results were obtained from 30 respondents PMO, 29 persons (96.7%) had a good knowledge and 1 person (3.3%) had enough knowledge about the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. From the 30 respondents of Pulmonary TB patients, it is found that 17 patients (56.7%) comply with medical treatment in health centers and 13 men (43.3%) non-adherent patients at community health centers. When analyzed using the chi square test there was no significant relationship between knowledge Observer Drugs (PMO) regarding the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis type of Fixed Dose Combination (FDC) and the compliance of patient treated. P value 0.374; ά: 0.5.
